Today we are in the midst of a rapid global transformation with increased demand on corporations to perform not only financially but to be good corporate citizens. One of the most important aspects of this transformation is the critical importance Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. Climate change; community health, education and development; and business sustainability are some of the most pressing issues of our time. Businesses are increasingly involved in these areas as are their clients and their people. This raises the importance of accurately and transparently accounting for and reporting these activities.
ACCA Singapore, Singapore Compact for CSR and Singapore Environment Institute are jointly organising “Introduction to Sustainability Reporting” Workshops to equip organisations with the knowledge to start their own sustainability reporting. Later in the year we will also be running Advanced Reporting workshops for reporters who are already reporting, but wish to improve upon their reporting processes and assess the implications of the latest developments in reporting.
WORKSHOP BENEFITS
The workshop will equip potential reporters with an understanding of:

The sustainability reporting workshop is based on the Global Reporting Initiatives (GRI) Reporting Guidelines Version 3, commonly known as GRI G3. ACCA Singapore has produced a Sustainability Reporting Handbook based on the G3 framework which has been adapted to suit the local context. Participants of the workshop will receive a complimentary copy of the Handbook.

Our trainer has helped numerous companies produce sustainability reports, including several of the companies who have gone on to win the ACCA Singapore Sustainability Reporting Awards. A speaker from KPMG will give a presentation on report assurance.
